The Quest for Authenticity
With this webquest students will learn to determine the difference between reliable and unreliable websites. The class can be divided in 6 teams researching these topics: Beluga Whales, American Civil War Facts, Mars, Ancient China Facts and Biomes Facts. A downloadable presentation orients the students on the tools available in the internet to filter information. A second downloadable presentation helps decode the URL to check if a site is reliable.
